Command & Conquer Red Alert 2 is a real time strategy computer game developed by Westwood Pacific. The game was released for Microsoft Windows platform in October 2000. The game features both single and multiplayer game modes. The goal is to eliminate enemies. User should obtain resources such as gold, minerals and oil. Using these resources, the player can build buildings, fortification, units and special weapons.
The war can be waged on ground, in water and in the air.
In 2001 extension pack called Command & Conquer: Yuri's Revenge was released. This extension introduced super psychic powers controlling Yuri. His defense units and towers can take ownership of enemy’s units.
The soundtrack was composed by an American musician Frank Klepacki who has been composing soundtracks for multiple games from the Red Alert series. The undoubtedly most famous track from the OST is Hell March 2.
